Opening band was really good....
Went in with modest expectations and left somewhat irate. I like their music recorded well enough but the live show felt VERY phoned in. They're good at what they do and very well rehearsed- almost enough to merit three stars instead of two. But Lord have mercy the winking and crowd hype from the bass player was one of the most cringe worthy things I've ever seen. Parts of the show flashed promise but never seemed to snap into that "it" factor I hoped to feel. Quite frankly I thought the performance doesn't have enough musical merit to justify the overly elaborate stage light show. Where the studio albums flash some diversity, live every song sounded the same... to the point it became tedious. I was really disappointed. Definitely a band that feels like they're owed the adoration of their fans and need to get back to earning it every night. I liked opening act Iya Terra quite a bit. Iration are an over produced all white male pop reggae music barf machine.
